Just recently started ordering from White House, and I ordered a fine art print for a customer.

It comes in yesterday and is NOT my image.

They are willing to remake it but aren't going to ship it any faster.

They were patting themselves on the back because they "remake any order that isn't correct" But come ON! Thats the MINIMUM, EXPECTED customer service, they are NOT doing me a favor or going out of their way by fixing their mistake.

Sometimes I wonder if I am too unforgiving. Yes, everyone makes mistakes and when you screw up you have to make it right. Is it unreasonable to think that since it was an error made by the LAB, not something like shipping damage or loss, that they should overnight me the package?

Only been with them since September - but no problems here.

Their shipping is pretty quick already, but I do feel that they should have sped it up a bit for you. Forgive them anyway, it's a simple mistake.

If it becomes the norm however, that's when you should really get upset.

I would pick up the phone and politely explain the need to get this image ASAP. I would expect the same thing...overnight me the correct image!

Wow, I have been using WHCC and have not had any problems! they are consistent with quality, shipping times, etc. That stinks that they messed up so bad with you! I don't think it is too much to ask that they overnight it...you should call them and tell them you need it ASAP and since it was their fault.....

I'd give them a second chance, though. They have been nothing but good for me!

I've been with WHCC for 3+ years now, and this is my only complaint with them. When they make a mistake, they fix it, but if you need it overnighted, they charge you extra for it.

sad.gif otherwise, they do great work, and great customer service.

I know someone that had the same problem and it WAS overnighted (not sure of the details... if she called them or just emailed). But it only happened to her once. Call 'em up and be niiiiice wink.gif

LOL thanks guys. I didn't post this until AFTER I had already talked to someone in CS. I was reallly niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice which wasn't too hard since the lady on the phone was being very niiiiiiiiiiiiice too...... BUT being nice and actually DOING something nice are different.

I guess that's why I like Miller's so much. They put priority on remakes which are very rare...maybe 1 or 2 a year with me. All shipments are FedEx overnight anyway. Last year I needed a remake quickly they had it to me the next day after talking with CS on the phone.

I haven't had any issues with WHCC. But I did recently have one issue with Lulu.com and they immediately put it on the press, had someone come in on Saturday morning to finish the press and ship it overnight so that I would have it in hand on Monday. I was super impressed with that and made my worries of having the issue in the first place go away.

I've used WHCC for 2 years now with nary a problem save for 1. I called them during the Christmas season for a rush job, and they said they couldn't guarantee anything.

I immediately called Mpix (used them off and on), and they had my prints delivered the NEXT DAY!

I guess the moral of this story is: Build a relationship with more than one lab, and the world is yours! smile.gif

I've never had a problem...well only a slight, like bent corners on a photo. They corrected it right away & I got it in one-two days.

Call back & talk to the big guns. I'm sure they'd do something/

Jess,

I read on another forum yesterday ( I think you know which one) that was asking if someone had received their fine art print from whcc, because she had received a wedding one. That forum is down tonight, so I cant logon and check who it was.

Personally I have not had much trouble with whcc. I have been using them completely since last spring.
If I need to overnight something with them, it usually is only like $3.00 extra. It is not that much since they already cover the two day shipping. It is based on how much you order, but say for just one print, I would guess it it would not be that much more. You can ask about that when you call them.

I haven't had any huge problems with them but have heard of others who had things like this happen. I've always been okay with the 2 day shipping, but I can see where it would be frustrating if you needed something right away.
