It's been a long and great day. My wife and I attended Zack's one light workshop here in Denver. It's just what I needed this offseason. What an inspiration. I am doing my happy dance. This is just one more thing incredible way to light to add impact to our weddings and portraits. Make it a priority to go to one, if Zack comes to a town close to you. What a humble and great guy. Thanks for sharing everything you do Zack, thanks for rocking the white!! After a long year I am ready and excited to go out again and try out the techniques he shared with us. This is so worth it, even if you have to fly to another state to attend. My mind is just racing about how I want to apply it to my style of shooting. camera.gif

What an AMAZING day today for sure. This has been such a great day. Big thanks to Bryce for hosting and Cat for being an amazing subject for all of us. I've had so much fun in Denver. I'ld love to stay a few more days.

I'll post some photos up soon. Ya'll post 'em up too! smile.gif

Cheers,
Zack

PS - Brent, we're actually getting a lot of requests for a OneLight Down Under. I'm hoping something it is something we can work out this year!

Thank you one and all for coming out to the OneLight here in Denver! Such. A. Blast. Here's a few photos from today... I want to see what ya'll shot though! Post it up!

The next image was shot with Cat standing in the same location but we just changed the modifier. No burning down of shadows done...

It was so dang cold outside that we did not go out on location beyond the front door of the studio. So for a little added value to the OneLight, I busted out a second light on a white wall to show a few things that can be done quickly and easily...

Here's one with an 85mm 1.8 held off the camera mount.

I just love the sounds of the ooooos and ahhhhhhs when we hit the multiply mode! Hahahahahaha! Sorry, joke for those who were there today. Mulitiply mode is magic mode is it not!? smile.gif

Again, thanks so much for coming out! Be sure to join the OneLight alumni group on Flickr.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! Zack you're simply the best! And the it was terrific to meet up with the Denver gang and Bryce was a fab host and Cat (and Randall) rocked it... Ross is right, if you can make it happen get to one. Valuable in sooooo many ways...

(And yes, we loooooove the multiply mode!)

Very cool shots! Great work, Zack. I'm also hoping to make the Pittsburgh One Light in March. Looking forward to meeting you. Yours is one of the few seminars/workshops that I hope to attend.

THIS WORKSHOP IS AMAZING! Zack - seriously. You are a stud.

I have learned so much from you - you gave us SO much information and I am so grateful! You are so dedicated to helping others - and sharing your passion for this industry. The fact that you made the trip to Denver and kept the cost of the workshop so low - is just so giving...I hope it comes back to you a million times over.

So thank you! thank you! thank you!

GO to this workshop if it is near you. You'll have a photography rebirth!!!

And all of you Denver OSP'ers - had a riot with you all!

When is the Indianapolis One Light Workshop going to be held?

I would love to see some diagrams of where you've positioned the light etc. That would really help me out between now and when I can actually attend the workshop!
