why is it that women are all "No I don't want my photo taken - not even for your portfolio" until they finally give in and see the results and then they can't get enough of it . . . . . .

sorry - I needed that, I've had so many 'portfolio opportunities' turned down lately for no real good reason - but when they have come through, they've loved it.

Well, why do women ask their significant others if they look fat in something . . . ?

And just want the compliments . . . it's pathetic, I know. So really, they want you to take them, knowing that they will look awesome and then waiting for you to tell them how great they look.
Note - I can only say this because I am a woman . . . and in good humor. We are not all like this!

Right on. Sometimes you just need to tell the truth. Besides, if you have to ask then the answer probably is yes.
When people say they don't want their picture taken I be nice while telling them that I'm going to get their picture whether they cooperate or not. If they cooperate then they WILL look good because I'M that good
