Full Version: I want to batch the effects to save time!
OpenSourcePhoto > GetIt > Showit Effects
Tobi Rose!
I'm pretty sure this can be done but not sure how to do it. I have Kubota and it's super easy to batch his because it's an action. Being as the effects are in the script section, can't batch them through bridge to save time. Last night I tried putting the effects as an action, but that didn't quite work out as planned. Anyone know how to do it?

What do you use for batching? Image Processor? If so, it is not possible to run an action which runs a script.

Yes, right. But how do you start the batch process? Menu->Photoshope Services->Image Processor?
Tell me more.
Tobi Rose!
AAAAh I see... Ok here's what I do:
In bridge I go Tools, Photoshop, Batch... Then it asks me what action I want to batch. I tell it and then it goes to photoshop...

Oh, I see. But it doens't change anything. It still works the same way. Bridge runs a script to run action in PS, then the action tries to run another script and here comes Mr. Problem. Because the scripting engine is already running a script started by Bridge it can't start another one. It was documented by Abode somewhere...

Shameless plug...

The easiest way to batch process Lomo is to use the original Nitorix Lomo Effects.

These are the Lomo effects in Showit Effects and the product that inspired Showit Effects.

BTW - Look for batch processing in a future release of Showit Effects. We know everyone wants it!

A-ha... if you need it for LomoIt use Lomo Effects. Since the script itself does all the batching. It is $18.
In general, if you have action which runs a script you can't batch it.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet, thanks!
