I know this is a bit away from Photography, but wondering for all you out there who made your websites in flash...

I've run across a problem I can't seem to figure out. I want to create a button that toggles the music on and off. I can get a button to turn the music off, but I can't get it to turn back on again. Anyone have any ideas? Did you use the "behaviors" or have to write an action script for it? I've searched the net a bit and can't find anything on it....seems like a simple thing that a lot of sites have. I just can't figure out how to do it....

Hey Chris!

I just looked at my code but it's something I just downloaded and plugged into our site so it looked like it was referring our "play" button to another scene somewhere and I got lost trying to find it! smile.gif

....I assume you are streaming your music? ...the only way I was able to do that before was to make two buttons. The first one unloaded the music.mp3 file and the second one loaded it back in.

Sorry I'm not much help!

Chris,

Are you trying to use the same botton to turn the music on and off? If not, you could place a stop action script for the second button.

That's all I've got. Hope it helps.

nope. Trying to use the same button, but I might end up just going with the two button approach for simplicity
