wow, my favorite topic!!! lesse....

*harder*, right now i'm totally into anberlin, holland, and mae
*lighter*, the weepies ("vegas baby"), sufjan stevens, joseph arthur, regina spektor, shawn mcdonald, frou frou rocks (imogene heap same thing)
*country*, little big town (LOVE "good as gone" and "boondocks"), keith urban, leanne rimes (nothin bout love makes sense, and somethin's gotta give are themes in my life right now, so...go figure)\\

i'm all over the board as far as music, but that's a tiny compact list of recent earfuls. my ipod plays totally random stuff all day when i'm home editing...it's great to have a variety.

I listen to a lot of singer/songwriters, and hit up Hotel Cafe in Hollywood at least once a month. On my iPod right now:

Priscilla Ahn
Susie Suh
Gabriel Mann
Jonny Lang
Phil Wickham
Regina Spektor
Sara Bareilles
Vienna Teng
Corinne Bailey Rae
Tristan Prettyman
Missy Higgins

Ooh, and just for fun, since this is a photography forum.... one of my favorite pictures of late.....a picture of Corinne Bailey Rae at a recent show at The Roxy.
theGreatDivorce
Corinne's music isn't my favorite style, but I really dig her new album!

Jillian, isn't Damien Rice's new album awesome? Of course, we Irish people rarely make anything but awesome stuff, so... tongue.gif

Stewart, "Hive" is definitely my favorite of 311's! "Down" will always be an anthem. Wanna email me that BR song?

I'm not too picky either. Lots great stuff was mentioned.
My all-time favorite bands are (and have been for many years) U2 and Switchfoot.
Just to throw in my 2¢.
