I used RentGlass.com back in November and wow, what a great experience! I rented the Nikon 18-200 when it first came out. If the lens you want is out of stock, click on the link and you can sign up for a notification email when it returns. That was the only way I was able to get my hands on the 18-200. And your rental period doesn't include the days in transit, which is great too.
