I went looking for curly, grungy borders a while ago and ended up buying some from HERE

I thought the ones from Itty Bitty actions were very nice, but cost a bit more than I wanted to spend! Anyway, I bought 5 from the above link, and I'm happy with them, though I've been too busy to play around with them much. I'll see if I can find a couple of samples for you....

Here you go....these are not all that great. I was just dying to experiment with the borders at the time and these are the (rushed) results.







These border images are purchased royalty free. I just checked the prices. You purchase 'credits' from the site. 10 credits-$12.... 26 credits-$30 and so on....
The images are then priced according to the size you choose. I chose 'large' which are 6 credits each. So 4 borders will cost you $30....with 2 credits left over for next time!!!

I had no idea how to use these at first. Then I found out how. Let me know if you decide to buy these and need help in Photoshop with applying them. There are some great tricks I learned about 'layer modes' for playing with jpeg borders.
