I thought it might warm the heart to see some of your portraits that show babies laughing/smiling. It always makes me feel a bit emotional when I see a young baby or toddler laugh out loud, I must be getting to the age where I don't mind admitting to being an old softy!

Well here is one to start you off...

What a great shot Janelyn, I love the way the mum is looking over her shoulder at the cheeky smile.

What a fantastic collection, not to mention cute!

I advise you take many photos while they are young, mine are now teenagers and it would seem that there is an invisible line that goes from my camera to their hands. Every time I point my camera at them they cover their faces and turn away!

Keep the pics coming...

Well I suppose that it is about time that I finally post up some of my work. Here are some shots that I have taken in the past few months of my son. They range from being shot in the studio to on the bed. They really are not laughing and all but oh well. I hope that you enjoy them.

Wow, thanks! I actually have a large piece of glass from an old coffe table that I use for the reflection....I just lay it over the black backdrop. Then in PP I just bring up the black levels/contrast a bit and the edges of the glass dissappear. biggrin.gif

Hi Laura,

If you resize you image to about 1000 pixels wide at 72 pdi in Photohop then save as a jpg with a setting of 12 it will give you a file small enough to upload but at a decent size.
