I really like the PPA show and actually I really like the whole PPA organization. I think they are doing a really good job in providing resources for photographers. They have a huge student section to their website which is really cool - StudentPhoto.com

...and if you're a member you can see tons of articles and I see they have some current ones with a bunch of OSPers! - Jose Villa, Garrett Nudd, Bob Davis and maybe even some more! Check it out.

We've been having a great time out here but I've gotta tell you that it's super cold and so I don't really wanna go outside much. It's been in the 30's most of the week. Yikes.

Tomorrow is the last day and I might try and get a flight home tomorrow night instead of Wednesday morning because I only have one day at home and I miss my bed. :)

oh yea...It was cool to walk in and see the shot of Jasmine and JD right at the entrance. I love that shot.

Hey DJ..

I'm home now, and I'm almost thawed out! ALMOST.
I came home Monday night because I had 2 kiddos w/Grandma, and I needed to be home to get them off to school this morning (Tuesday). I was working in the Gina Alexander Inc. booth back in the 1200 corner of the Expo -- ran into a few OSP'ers, too! That was fun...nobody named "David" or "DJ" though...hmmmm ... guess that guy thought he wasn't cool enough to come back to the back of the expo... oh well!

I met a bunch of nice folks, got to talk to a lot of people about how to sell handbags well, that kind of stuff, and I got to get away and have some lunches & meetings w/some nice folks, too.

OH! and I got to go find Erik of BF (Mike was busy talking talking talking to someone in the booth). Their booth was schweet! Loved their custom-made mac tower stands!

It's nice to be back in SoCal where I can go outside without thinking I just might drop dead from the cold! (am I spoiled or what? I can never ever live any place where it might not hit 60 on any given day!)

I guess I'll have to catch you in Vegas... that's not too far away!

Hey Carey,

Cindy and I loved the Gina Alexander booth. You wouldn't believe all the moms, brides, etc. that have asked us about putting one of our images on a handbag or purse.

I must be a really confident heterosexual to be caught talking about purses with y'all. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Hey Carey, I saw you but you had a ton of people stading there and you were working so I didn't want to interrupt. I wondered if you were going to do an EZPS Booth this year.
