Has anyone else had problems with getting their archives to work in blogger? I have tried so many things to remedy this but its just not working for me.

I can't get blogger to set the correct link to the archives. Its a little embarassing to have page not founds coming up when someone chooses to look back at september or something.

Just wondering if its me.

Im not having any problems with our archive pages in blogger. You might look at the HTML code for the template and see if its gotten messed up. Make sure the links for the archives look correct, and if not, edit them and republish.

I had a problem similar to this while trying to customize my template. You might want to check to see where it is linking to and make sure it coincides with your directories on your hosting account (if you are hosting your BLOG on your own website). I had to create a folder on my hosting account to match the name & location Blogger linked the archives to because they didn't match up (hope that's not too confusing!?, kind of hard to explain).

I've had problems with blogger archiving... I self host mine, so thankfully all of the archives are on my server.

My fix: the url's that are setup in my archives is wrong, so I've gotta go into my server and rename each archive. If I'd been blogging for three or four years, this would suck... but with monthly archives for only a year or so, this only means renaming 12 or so files...

Probably won't be of much help, but I had blogger problem after another so I went to Typepad and haven't looked back. smile.gif

type pad seems cool but I cant justify paying for it right now, it is almost as much as my hosting a month.

I am playing around with iblogger.

Love your work Skye.

The problem I have specifically is that my archives point to and html page and not a folder. I could recreate and have recreated the page the archive links to but then I have to just list the entries and they are not in "blog" form.
