Thanks. One photogenic monolight/ umbrella off to the side. Occasionally, I slaved the 580ex as a kicker. The ceiling was black, and the walls were red or brick- so I couldn't bounce. I rarely ever use my photogenic's, but I knew I would have to for this shoot.
Cris- the courtyard was at some hotel, I don't remember the name of it. But it's right next to Jackson Square and Muriel's resturant (where the rest of the shots were taken). The hotel was kind enough to let us use their courtyard for 30 minutes.
Muriel's didn't want to let us use the room at first. They said they stopped renting it out after Katrina. The groom switched their rehearsal dinner to the resturant for a nice $6k- $7k fee, then they became a little more accomodating.
