Ok so I told myself that I would never work on my car ever again but with minet tight right now I didnt want to take it to the shop and pay for labor so i did it myself. i changed the oil, did the spark plugs, I tried to change the fuel filter but decided i could gert to it, so then i went and took the battery leads off the battery to resewt the system, went and put them back on, and now the car is sitting at my friends house cause it wont start. blink.gif The dash light blink the whole inside of teh car works like the stereo, heat/a/c, lights everything, but the car wont start. That just goes to show you i should have stuck to what i said before. I WILL NEVER WORK ON MY CAR AGAIN!!! mad.gif

Stewart- Is it turning over at all? If not, check the connections again. Then check the fuses. Next check the starter.
If it is turning, it is probably either the computer or the alternater.
Either way, bummer.

I checked the fuses but what i wasnt able to check cause now my car is at my friends house is the main fuse, and also it might be the battery as well. Dont really know but my 96 toyota avalon is sitting right now.

Like i said I HATE CARS!!!!

but can laugh about it now. laughing.gif thumbsup.gif

Did you put the plug wires on in the correct order? The firing order might be casted into the intake manifold. Some do that most don't though. You can look it up on line if it's not on there. Or in a shop manual if you have one.

yeah I'm with woffles - it's unlikely to be the fuses because the interior is lighting up/stereo etc, it's more likely the spark plug leads order or just bad connections on them.
