This is my neighbor and good friends son who is a Senior. We are going to do a two part session. We did some studio stuff yesterday (lind of had to rush, wish I had more time to play) in a friends studio. Will do some outdoor stuff when its a little warmer.
Hes a cute kid and loves the camera.
CC very welcome and always appreciated, good or bad.

Shooting and looking at senior portraits is my favorite. They look awesome, number 9 is my favorite. He looks like a shy one, wheres the big fake smile for mom?!

Whoah! there is no way he's a senior! Did he show you his seniors bus pass? does he even own a mobility scooter? I think hes able to chew his own food still too!!

Ok, I'm guessing 'senior' means something other than it does here - (over 65 years) biggrin.gif

They're all strong but I love the colours in the first 2, number 7 and the last one.

looking forward to the out-doors shoot.

Hi Jenn, nice shootin'!! These are all good, but my faves are 1, 4, 6, 9, 12. Cant wait to see your outdoor session! If he loves the camera, I would get him to do some more shoots for you. Never hurts to have some "models" lined up when an idea pops into your head!

He is a TOtal shybird, I actually was very surprised how loose he was when I started shooting. He did admit on the way home, how much fun he had. As far as the big smile for mom, there was a part of the session where I got him to laugh outloud, but since the music was soooo loud in the studio(we were rockin out) I couldnt hear my focus beeper and we were using stobes and I was a bit close with the 70-200. When I got them home, I had back focused on the stupid chair behind him. Bummer. Many more opps for laughter outdoors. smile.gif Ill still be funny then. w00t.gif
BTW did you get my PM about how freakin hot you were? biggrin.gif

I don't remember seniors looking THAT good when I was one wink.gif Nice job and #6 in the dark blue thermal is my favorite - seems so natural but sexy at the same time. Am I allowed to say that? Eek.

Jennifer,

Very nice! I think senior guys would be especially hard to shoot. I really like the last 4. I didn't notice in the thumbnail of #9 that his shirt is open. That's pretty hot. I think I would PS out that hair sticking up, though. When he looks directly into the camera, like #6 and the last one, it's like you know who he is. That's really hard to do with a senior.

Just my opinion - it looks like his hair was still wet at first and it definitely looks better by the end when it's curly and not stuck to his head.

Feeling very old right now.
