oh wow, such a good idea! I think #2 and #5 are my favorites. You never cease to amaze me. whether it be your marketing ideas or your photography skills! I'm loving the emotion in these photos. What a different angle coming at it from the grandparents. I've done a few large family session over the last couple months and one of my favorite things to capture is the interaction between the grandparents and the grandkids.
I love the joy that you get from grandparents photos. It's just love minus the stress that the parents sometimes feel if the baby/child is not cooperating. The grandparents are able to just purely enjoy the kids, now you've inspired me to capture that more!
I'm planning on doing a newborn session for one of my best friends in the next few weeks (depending on when she delivers) her mom and grandma will be flying out from the Midwest, I think I will have to make sure to try and schedule the session when they are still in town and include them!
BTW, I gotta say, I'm bummed you won't be able to make it to OSP-W I know it's probably not convenient for you since we are on the other side of the country

but hopefully we can meet some other time, your work and how you seem balance that and family has been an inspiration to me as I'm getting started!
These are actually very dear friends of ours... when her daughter was pregnant, she had a "Grandma" shower (apparantly becoming more and more popular!) and I presented her with a certificate for a Grandma Session... her friends, of course... went wild!
It was a different dynamic from a standard session for sure, but enjoyable, nonetheless!
We were so trying to get to OSPW... but there is just TOO much going on right now... We'll be in CA before the end of the year, I'm sure... but just not right now!
