Hey everyone,
A good friend and fellow photographer, Ira Lippke, is being featured in OC next week to benefit the Tsunami victims. It will feature over 100 of his recent photographs from his trip to Indonesia where he was one of the first western aid workers to Banda Aceh. This was a life-changing trip filled with sorrow, joy, death and the surge of life.
The story of their trip will be told in a 20 minute documentary film by Bento productions and a large exhibition of their photographs curated by Bonnie Kate Mancini (some prints will be 4 feet by 6 feet!) All the images will be available for you to own with a modest donation to the Tsunami victims. There's also some great bands playing, a cocktail lounge, and it's fully catered by some amazing restaurants ... Ira will also be in attendance and it would be fantastic if you could connect with him in person. Feel free to mention that I encouraged you to attend.
This is a one night only event that is sure to be a great time and, most importantly, will help a great cause!
I strongly urge you to attend if you're able. Here are the details. Let me know if you have any questions ...
