sooooo much! possibly one of the greatest hinderances to my progress sometimes is when i look to the left or the right. it takes my eyes of my goal, my dream, and my coach. when i look at how fast others are running or what cool new sweat bands they are wearing i begin to get overwhelmed with what i dont have or what i cant do. i begin to think that i need to dress or run like them and then i find discontentment because im not being me. i didn't get into this business because someone cool with a camera inspired me to become a photographer and make lots of money. i came to this track because i was doing what i loved wherever i was... i was following the one who gives my heart dreams and hope. people have been drawn to me not because of me but because of where i am going and who i am following. im not following the men of this world, im finding my own way. after WPPI in vegas that is what i came home with -a determination to be me... to follow my Coach and not get distracted by the competition. because in truth im competing with no man. im running the race to finish and in the meantime striving to be a faithful and steady runner.
