David:
Where did you get the borders which are on your site which look like a filed out neg carrier? Was this purchased or did you create yourself?
Thanks,
M Todd

Also, I noticed you have some sweet custom borders on your site! Nitorix can implement your own borders into the software for a little extra change $$$ - and it might be worth it b/c the borders you have looked pretty cool!
Ciao!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just found out last night that BorderIT does a little squishy squishy on the image making vertical shots look thinner and horizontals look fatter...Fix is coming...

I just got the BorderIT and Lomo effects - and I ended up doing a whole engagement session proof with these effects! Maybe I went overboard, but we'll see if the couple appreciates it.

Our church had a baptism today and I lomo'd one shot and then had to do the rest! Good thing it's automated!!!

I definitely agree. Kind of makes me regret wasting my Sunday afternoon on the computer...

I did see someone I knew though, and I happen to have a photograph of him wearing a suit! (The two goons to the left and right of the ever stylish Gerald Torres are Megan and I.)

NO WAY!!! That's so awesome!!! Pastor G is the man! ...and it looks like you got married at Westmont!

Yea!
Don't worry...I spent most of the afternoon in front of the computer too!

We did get married at Westmont (that's cool that you could pick up on that!), and Gerald was the best. He had us both in tears during communion, and we periodically wrack our brains to try and remember exactly what he said to us to get us going (I guess that means we are becoming old farts...).
Honestly though, I don't think we could imagine having anyone else marry us than Gerald. He made it extremely personal and special -- he gave an awesome sermon, read some non-typical wedding scripture as well (I had wanted Matthew 7:7-14 read) and managed to take us into a private space where it was just the three of us and God, despite the 100 or so other people sitting around us.

Beautiful shots, DJ! I love ocean baptisms!
KK - which church did you attend when you were in Hawaii? It wasn't by any chance New Hope with Pastor Wayne Cordeiro, was it??!
I miss my old church - thank goodness they post their
sermons online!

What fun shots and great color. I was baptized my freshman year in high school but at the time I was attending a church that they only sprinkle for baptism. I have always wanted the experience of being dunked. The ocean is an incredible place for that. I am not sure I have ever seen a baptism in the ocean! How cool.

DJ- Looks like you're having lots of fun with a wide angle? I love it! Did you get your hands on 14 mm?
