Wow this is really cool. I have seen the albums on Simple Photo Minute and they are really amazing!

I'd imagine this will coincide with WPPI, right?

I just might have to hit up WPPI after all.

Any chance something like this could be made into a DVD for purchase? I'd love to learn how to make my own albums, and it could be a good way to reach those who cannot make it to a class.

I LOVE the idea of custom books. Not that I'd have time to do it every time, but I love working with my hands and creating something unique! I would be super interested in learning more.

P.S. I have a basic idea of how it works, so if any Minnesotans want to get together and figure it out with me, I'll provide the tea and scones. :-) (not that I wouldn't love to attend the seminar, but I just can't afford the trip and expense right now)

The video is something that has been discussed, but we haven't put anything into motion yet. We are considering traveling to the East Coast - there has been expressed interest, it is just a matter of getting all of the gear there safely and soundly. If you go to the website and fill out the contact form with comments that you would like to be notified with further information pertaining to the Combo workshops, I will add you to the database and send emails to keep you up to date on what's happening.

Come on, over! I can't make Las Vegas this year, but would like to learn!

Ya'll are more than welcome to use our 2,500 sq. ft. studio here in Atlanta if you need an East Coast venue.

Cheers,

Wow this is a neat idea. I think the video plan is the way to go however.
I would personally help you promote this on the pro photo show if you guys could make it more of a dvd style, and have the ability to order supplies online.

What would be perfect is to also offer a kit that had the video, and the materials for the first album. I think the workshop is really cool, but I also think that to get it widespread you need an alternative as the workshop expense, and travel will just be more than most are willing to put out.

Good luck
