oh boy - I love music! it's in my head constantly.

for some reason I mostly remember Boy George stuff from my childhood.
Alanis Morisette and Boys II Men for high school
Sheryl Crow for college (You're My Favorite Mistake)
Nowadays it's mostly Third Eye Blind and Rob Thomas stuff. smile.gif

there a few songs i hear, and i think of them in terms of how well they'd work in the movie i'd make if i ever made one.

for instance:

1. devin davis - canons at the courthouse (ending credits)
2. beatles - blackbird (a scene where someone wakes up and goes about their daily routine. no talking, just shots of them being up and about at the beginning of the day)
3. bishop allen - busted heart (after something slightly bad happens to one of the characters, and they find themselves not knowing how to cope.)
4. clap your hands say yeah - let the cool goddess rust away (when a character embarks on the beginning of a road trip, and the camera is way up high showing the car on some country back road. and i think i'd like to see a dog sticking his head out of the window.)
5. no song yet (for when a nice, little kid is seen riding on the back of a motorcycle with some really tough, butch guy driving.)

and i have a million others. maybe i should sit down and actually try to write an actual screenplay sometime....
