Nice shots!! Looks like you guys were having fun!! Congrats on getting the first one out of the way!! First wedding jitters are over now!!!
DennisMPhotography
Thank you Brady and Mike...I hope that my future weddings are as good of an experience as this one. Wedding jitters are an understatement. But your right I can check this one off the list.

Thanks, I used a Canon 5d and a 24-70 2.8 Canon lens. What about yourself?
I looked at some of your work and it's very nice.
rowena
Good on ya! They look super!
Jamie Delaine
Yes, absolutely beautiful images. They look so fun. The bride is beautiful and I love the ones of her coming up behind the groom!
Neil Cowley
great series!
DennisMPhotography
Thanks Neil, Jamie and Rowena. The bride is beautiful and wasn't camera shy at all. She really had a good time with this series. It wasn't till the end that emotions took over. She's cute. : )

Wonderful. They are very nice and warm. The first shot is esp inviting. What did you use as far as lighting on the first shot?

My only comment is the PP on the 3 one. Its alot cooler than the others.
DennisMPhotography
Thanks Adam, what is the PP? I'm bad with abreviations. As far as the first one is concerned, my lighting was a combination of the dim lighting and bouncing my flash. I went to school during the reception with my flash. I started off by fumbling with the flash settings, then I moved into bouncing the flash. One hand was on the camera the other on the flash. You could say I was in the zone. The zone is a nice place... I also use a 5d and 24-70mm. I thought it was a nice reception lens.

I love shot #1. I kinda wished for a little bump of contrast though. Everything else about it is awesome though. IMHO of course! happy.gif
DennisMPhotography
Thank you pic..I love #1 also. It could use a little contrast. I think that I'll do a round two with a different series. This wedding was really small with a big heart. : )
AKS
Great series!
So the way she surprised him , I am taking this was before the actual wedding, or not?

This series was taken before the ceremony definetly and right before the portraits with the bridal party. We took the bridal party portraits outside around 3pm and they wanted to preserve the first time they see each other moment. The wedding was at 5pm. In other words it was a night wedding and no time for outside portraits after the wedding. Thanks for asking.
I think that this would work in any case that there was enough time or a reason to do the portraits before the wedding.
