Unreal. Suddenly, there's not that much difference between this and the 20D besides fps!

I wanted to buy another 20D soon, but should I wait to see if the price drops?

I wouldn't anticipate that. Even though the 350D and the 20D are similar, they are in different catagories of cameras. I would be suprised if the price on the 20D drops at all.
Besides, the Digital Rebel wasn't that different from the 10D and the 10D price didn't drop.

This is the first I've heard of this model. Is it rugged enough for weddings? What are the frames per second? Anything else I would want to know about it?

It's a follow up to the digital rebel if you have seen one of those. It is not very rugged, and really not designed for pros. It's designed to be an entry level consumer SLR. It shoots at 3 fps. I've shot with the Rebel before and wouldn't use it as my primary camera. I've had my assistants use it before, but that's just because I couldn't afford 2 10Ds back in the day. Now I'm on a 20D and my assistant is on my old 10D.
Hope that helps....

I was able to play with one for awhile yesterday at PMA. Although the 350D/RebelXT feels much smaller and lighter than the DRebel, it also feels more solidly-constructed and it also looks better (especially in black), for whatever that's worth.
I think that the RebelXT would actually do a better job at capturing images than the 10D, given its impressive specs. As Chris says, it is certainly not a pro-level camera and it still has a plastic body. For this reason, it would certainly be a good bet for a backup body or a great knock-around DSLR, but not for a main body at weddings.

I'll have to look into this one Brian... Thanks for the info. I have still yet to get my digital... I'm going to be trying to set up some shoots in hopes that I can get some more $$ towards my final purchase... Most likely this or the Nikon D70 (I really don't want to waste all that Nikon glass). Any word on a release date??

Katherine ---
I was thinking about it... then I looked at KEH.com (the buy used equipment) and I found out I wouldn't get much for my lenses, or my N60 body. And plus I wanna keep it to still be able to shoot film once in a while.
