What's funny is that I started doing something like this on a MUCH MUCH more small scale with Laura here about 2 years ago! So I'm glad you like this one too Laura! It sure will beat the crap out of my basics classes!



Haha I dunno about rockstar - Timco and DJ and the HolritzNudds are rockstars. JC & B are rockstars. I'm just a roadie - I pick up things from people and hopefully can accumulate some of that knowledge in one place. Just so you guys know, I've called in some bigger names than I to try and provide a bit of info for the site as well. And if you want to contribute let me know and we'll see what we can hook you up with for ideas & topics etc.

I'm glad you like the contract & forms stuff. I've been using those phone intake sheets like CRAZY the last few days. They take some getting used to but once you have them, they rule all!

Ha ha...yeah funny enough Matt, I meant to tell you.. a groom called inquiring yesterday, so when I called him back, I asked if he had gotten a chance to look at my work on my website, and his response was not first about my work it was "Yeah, you were the one with the hot pink website right?" And I laughed and was like "Yeah that was me." And he was like "Very clever.. VERY clever. But um, yeah you're work is great too."

So there's an example of how my color marketing is working! Thanks again for the wonderful profile Matt!

Colors, bah, forget the colors, this is how I am going to remember your site. The other day I cleared the cache on my browser and lost the auto-fill in in Firefox for sites I visit often. And was scratching my head as to why the page wouldn't show when I was typing www.mattantonio.com. Finally I came to OSP, looked up one of your posts and used the link from your sig. All fine and good, so I though, that Firefox was going to remember next time. Next time I went to visit, again, page not found

So for me, the best way to remember a site, is to think you know the address, get the guy's last name wrong, feel like an idiot, make a post about it on OSP, and now I rememer and won't forget.

Long story short, just now, I realized that your last name is not AntoNIO but AntoNINO. Where is that email I got about only needing the first and last letter of a word to read it and the rest in the middle can be a complete mess. I feel like an idiot.

Anyway, awesome site with extremely useful information.

Welcome! The next part of that series will be the opposite - taking a long pre-made action apart and rebuilding/editing it. That'll be helpful for people who have my actionset, Kevin Kubota's Artistic Paks and stuff like that.

That is why I said I feel like an idiot, 'cuz I just noticed that that is your name right smack over the avatar, but I always read it as Antonio. I did feel like it was kind of strange because I had never seen Antonio used as a last name, but I figured not to ask because I have seen other names used as last names.

When will you have your action set available again for purchase?

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but... I took one look at that site and closed it. The colors are muted, the layout looks WAY dated, and there seems to be a huge lack in graphic appeal. I realize it's a free site and everything, I'm just putting my .02 out there - I think you could draw a lot more traffic and put that resource to really good use if it just looked legitimate.

Thanks for the feedback Cameron. I like most of that layout - it's a template so I could get a site going for this stuff. I don't like the lines on it but haven't taken them out yet - just been busy getting the content up. If by legitimate it has to be black white & one other color, it's never going to be. I've already railed against sites that "clean professional just like everything else" look. I prefer color - and our color is blue. In this case I haven't finished tweaking the look but if it makes you not get the info you're right that should be better. I haven't had a problem with getting traffic yet - but I understand what you're saying and appreciate you taking the time to say it.
