Okay, so I have a website and skooks cart hosted on mediacatch. I have no idea where to upload my finished and first show.

I'm read through a few tutorials, but to be honest with you guys, I'm sooooo green at this stuff. Very green.

Can I use smart ftp, to upload the saved showit web folder? And if so, where do I drag and drop the folder to?

It said public html, but when I tried that, the link didn't work. Anyone bored and wanna help?

LOL

I can try to help!

So here's what I did. In my website directory through my web host, I created a new folder called Slideshows. I then I copy (aka ftp) all of my slideshow folders into that folder. So if you look at the directory structure of my account, it would look something like this.

elizabethcrookphoto.com -> Slideshows -> AlexSteph -> index.html

Does that make any sense?? Feel free to email or pm me if you want!!

thank you Beth!

I should have done the slideshow folder first but didn't think! So, now when I finish editing this couples wedding images and upload those, I'll have to make sure I do a different folder than just their name!

I figured out where to ftp it though! Thanks!

Now, I'm worried about band width or making sure I have enough space on my hosting site. Right?

Guess it looks like a service call to media cache is in order.

Thanks!

What is your monthly bandwidth allowance on your account?

Glad you figured out where to upload it! Everyone probably does it their own unique way. But I just love the organization of knowing that all of my slideshows and their folders are in one location. It makes for a longer URL, but I don't really care on my end wink.gif
