Full Version: Past Month!

This past month I've been overwhelmed with the amount of blessings God has put in my life. I'm not going to list them all out right now, but it's been really interesting how I've been able to track every single one of them back to me giving something to someone else without expecting anything in return!

Robert Kiyosaki, the multi multi multi millionaire, and author of the best selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad said,

“When it comes to love, happiness, sales, and contacts first give what you want and it will come back in droves.”

Sarah! - WOW! You're already reading Rich Dad Poor Dad!!! That is awesome! You are definitely way ahead of your time! I just gave that to one of my friends from PICtage who is 29!!!

Keep reading and learning!

Chears from the 29 year old wink.gif I am loving the book! Thanks DJ! I got through the first CD on my way home. I wish I would have come accross this book earlier in life. I am not sure I would have been ready to really absorb it at an earlier stage in my life though. I have alwasys worked for money. Things are about to change! smile.gif

We might have to go shopping again though!

Sara France
Absolutely! You are a blast to shop with and the shopping in SB is great. We have not even scratched the surface. Did you get some shirts from your friends? BTW, I have some new ideas. biggrin.gif
davidjay
Awesome! I can't wait to hear them!!! smile.gif

I've got Tim working on getting in touch with the clothes guy b/c he knows him better! It's pretty cool stuff!

DJ,

When you're done can you list the clothing you wear in the "my equipment" part of your website?

smile.gif
davidjay
LOL!!! smile.gif

That's awesome! You should have your girlfriend help you out! Girls love that stuff - and they're good at it!

I like this one: http://store.yahoo.com/stardumb-store/cassette.html

Both color options are good on you. No orange reverse stitching though. What is up with that? wink.gif
Tricia
Hey that is my friends site, Stardumb. They just had a baby last month!!
davidjay
We can probably get one made that way! smile.gif We're gonna try and incorporate our logo into the designs a little bit so I'm sure we can find some fun shirts to print on!

You just tell us what looks good and we'll do it!
Tricia
What are you making shirts for b/c AVG and I were just discussing making our own shirts. As AVG said "if your going to wear a t-shirt and advertise something, why don't you be a walking billboard for your own company!"
davidjay
smile.gif Yea! You gotta be a little careful with the whole self promotion bit, but when it's done appropriately it can be beneficial!

I'm thinking more about purpose and realizing that everything I do MUST have a purpose (in business and life) and I think I like the idea's behind Stardumb so it's more of a "cobranding" thing than just a "David Jay" plug.

smile.gif
Tricia
You have your own plug? ph34r.gif
But I bet you I'm the only one who knows illegal ninja moves from the government.

LOL - smile.gif

I actually studied in the Bujinkan, which is the modern day version of Ninjitsu, for 4 years before realizing I couldn't get scholarship $$$ for beating people up so I went back to playing soccer!

Here's the background from my old dojo! smile.gif

Are you providing for me an example of the "whole self promotion bit" with that last post?
