So, on vacation, I took a lot of kookey photos of trees in motion, spinning trees... all sorts of things. And I've been itching to use these photos as texture layers on some photos. So, when this recurring client came in, and I told her that I had some processing ideas bouncing around in my head, she told me to "go and be as crazy as you wanna be!"

So!! With excellent threads about going overboard with photoshop in mind, here are a few examples of me going overboard in photoshop.
Yup.

Hey!! Spinning trees AND selective coloring!

Regular black and white!

Last and of course least, a non-photoshopped photograph!! wink.gif

I absolutely love the first two, I need to learn more about this texturizing thing-a-majig

Wow, those are some really interesting results. I'm not a huge fan of over-photoshopping, but I really like the results you got by using those textures.

Hurrah!

The textures are just abstract photos I took of trees while my husband and kids an I were driving through the mountains on our Christmas vacation.
The texture in the first two was taken at a slow shutter spead, while Phil was driving, and I was zooming out as well.

I have to say... he was pretty impressed by my hanging out the window with a $3000 camera at high speeds antics!! wink.gif

Go Rebel! thumbsup.gif

I dig 1 & 2. Now did you have a strap on your camera while hanging out of the car? Cause that doesn't count! camera.gif

Hahahha!! Until Phil admonished me, I did have the whole camera, strap free, hanging out of the window. *nod nod* blink.gif blink.gif
