I just returned from April and William's beautiful small, low-key wedding in Clearwater, FL at the Belleview Biltmore Hotel. They live in Baton Rouge, LA so tonight was the first time we met in person, which was a cool experience in itself.

The groom and the groomsmen are all electronic musicians and club DJs back in Louisiana, so naturally they were in charge of the music for the wedding. I was amazed to see that they powered all of the ceremony music from an iPod! How cool is that!?! Here's a photo I snapped of it . . .

I hope that all of you are having a great weekend!

Cheers,

Brian

Yeah, Tim . . . I think that is an iPod Photo.

Man, IMHO Apple really missed out on the pro-photog market when they opted to not put an internal CF reader into the iPod Photo. You have to buy some clunky Belkin device in order to plug a CF card into it.

I think the Epson P-2000 is currently one of the coolest toys out there. I haven't seen any competitors come close to their product.

Does anybody here have one? It's another thing on my wishlist. smile.gif

Yeah, I love image tank type devices. I actually did a bit of research on buying one of those just about a year ago, but never bit because there wasn't a stand alone device that had all the features I was interested in.
My buddy and I did a backpacking trip, and he chose to shoot digital and didn't want to carry a ton of memory cards (we were out for three weeks) so he brought his ipod and the belkin reader. He brought a portable solar panel unit to charge it all with. Unfortunately, the belkin burned through the entire battery before it could read an entire 1 gig card, and the solar charger wasn't powerful enough to charge the ipod in a timely manner. I think it was the first (and last) time in a year that I'd been happy I was shooting film.
