Hello!!! I am thoroughly confused! Here is what I want: to be able to keep the same quick release / body plate on my Canon 10d (with battery grip), and be able to quick release from my Gitzo 1276M ballhead (already equipped with it's own quick release), and quick release from my Stroboframe pro-rl without having to unscrew anything out of camera or stroboframe. I have An Acratech 2133 body plate that I can use with my battery grip. That's it. I can mount the camera on the stroboframe, then I have to unscrew it, to screw in the tripod quick release plate. I want just ONE system that will work with both camera and Stroboframe. And of course, I would love to be able to mount the stroboframe on my tripod too, if I could. I feel like I am not thinking about something really obvious, and I just seem to figure out what I need. I know I could just mount the stroboframe on the tripod without the head, so maybe I could do that?? I just need to be speedy when I switch around from handheld to tripod and I really need the stroboframe. Any suggestions??? Should I get an acratech quick release clamp? but I wont be able to use it with my gitzo head quick release???? any of this make sense? Thanks in advance!!!

How badly do you need your tripod? Are you shooting film?
