Amazing shots. We did a "best of 2006 Graphi album but they pale in comparison to yours.
Great inspiration! I'm a sucker for great ring shots - love them!

Can you share with us how you got those great shots? Like what some of your settings were. For those of us just starting out. Do you use a flash to fill?

Majority of the time i do not use fill flash unless I am forced too. If the subject is extremely backlit i will, the group shots have flash... the shot at the top of the guys actually used 2 alienbees. usually the ring shots have a little bounced fill to them. but the majority of the shots are wide open aperutures and available light only.

Love your outdoor shots. What lense do you usually use for weddings? And for outdoors?
When you say wide open - I'm guessing you mean like a f/2.8 or 1.8/1.4?

yeah wide open i am usually referring to 1.8. it just depends on the lens. most of the time i use my 85 / 1.8 if i have enough room to manuever(sp?) around. it is pretty long on the 1.6 crop camera. but it is a sweet lens and i use it as much as possible. next lens of choice is the 50 1.8.

Since you aren't using your flash - what do you normally set your ISO for during a wedding? Or do you continuously change it with the situation? Sorry to ask so many questions.

no problem... i never use flash during the ceremony of a wedding and my clients know this. if they choose to still have "candle lit only weddings" then their pictures will be dark just like the actual ceremony was. I mean that only makes sense. But usually the lights are low but enough light that iso1600 at 2.8 using my 70-200IS from the back of the church is sufficient. It can be pretty dark and you can get a pretty good shot at 1/50 f/2.8 with the 70-200. i bet some others would chime in and agree with me on that.
