Oh my goodness am I nervous about this!! It's my first time EVER entering a print competition but it should be fun. How many of you are entering this year? I had two prints done from mpix.com on metallic paper. I can't wait to see them.....and maybe at least get an honorable mention. Good luck to the others entering!!!!

I love that metallic paper. It's fun to experiment with it. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the print competition. It's always great to look through your work and pick out favorites from the past year etc. And it's cool to see what the judges select and hang on the walls in Vegas. It's always an amazing gallery!

Thanks Rachel! I really "hope" something comes out of it but we'll see. If not then no worries because my 2007 year is booking up quick with AWESOME b&g's and I should be able to capture something amazing! I'm so optimistic!

The candlelight shot is why I'm actually here at OSP... DJ had left me a message on my blog about it that he liked it and so I decided to check this place out....... VERY glad I did.

Its definitely a goal for us this year. Unfortunately WPPI is always the week before or the week after our kids spring break. This year its the week before they get out of school. So will have to figure out how to get around this.

Just got my metallic prints from MPIX!!! Amazing..... the photographer rocks!! Doh, sorry!

I can't believe how fast they got them to me!! Now I have to still pay for the entry fee and shipping fees to WPPI... yikes!

how did you mount/mat them?

I just had MPIX mount them on double thick foamboard.... good idea or no??
