so I am on month 3 paying for extra pix and still haven't sent them to them. I get 4 total. Let me know which 4 you like and which should be the lead main. I can't separate the pix from the stories behind them, so I am having a hard time choosing. The file names don't show up but number them 1-14 going across.

Hi, Jessica

I think you should use 1, 3, 4 and 5, or perhaps 1, 3, 5 and 8. And maybe use 3 as the main image. Hope my opinion helps.

Best wishes to you!

my favs are #3? Horiz-woman b/w w/ dress

1, 2, 3, 4 with 1 as your main but really I would think about what your goal is/brand is

Are you selling emotion, portraits, moments, fun, etc that will help pick photos better than anything else. From these choices it looks like you like to do traditional portraits-is that true?
MikeWarren
I would pick 1, 3, 4, and 8 with 1 or 8 as the main. I agree with Sofia on what is your main presentation to your market.

Glad to see you posting again! Hope you are feeling better!!!

I guess I really don't consider these traditional other than the bridal shots. To me (and most southern brides) traditional translates to posed formal photos. I also do formal posed group shots at wedding but am not including those as those are not MY photographic style. Does anyone else see these as traditional (other than the formal bridal shots, those are most definitely posed, traditional shots, but that is what southern brides want---trying to get some to go for the trash the dress session, but no luck yet.)

I don't consider myself as SELLING emotions or moments, but selling my talent of documenting a celebration. Yes, some of it is staged, but much of it is capturing a moment or an emotion as it happened.

3, 9, 11, 5 are my favorites in order of most favorite. They're all lovely, though, and I ca"sense: the emotional stories behind them, so I can see why you'd have a really hard time deciding!

Let us know how well TheKnot does for you. I'm considering buying the same listing there that you have.

Edited to add: I don't really see these as "traditional" - I'm in the Northwest, where somewhat more casual-style formals are getting to be the order for posed formals, and these still don't feel blatantly traditional to me. I think you picked some very strong images...but if I were a bride, I still think #3 would have the biggest "wow" factor for me if it was the first photo I saw of your work!
Becky Waurio
I really like #1, 3, 6, and 11

Great work, Jessica! I don't really think these are "traditional." I think they are classy and elegant - especially #3. I love it!

1, 3, 5, 11.....HTH Great work overall though! biggrin.gif

I vote for 1, 3 and 7

which will get people to look more into your work.....

Hi Jessica,
For the Knot I like 1,4,8,&9 with 8 being my fav.
Good luck
Anne
1, 4, 11, 14

#1 as the main image- because it evokes romance, happiness, skill, and artistry
#4 - because every bride wants to feel beautiful like her
#11- because of the emotion, movement, and different look - it won't look like everyone else's photos on the knot
#14- I love the expansive look of this photo - the anonymity makes me feel like I could be the one in the image. The brightness of the blue draws my eye over the other sillouette.

I really love #2, but I think it would make a stronger statement somewhere up front in your website after you've already attracted brides, rather than on the knot. I would like #3 if the background had more separation from the bride, or if it was a different crop. 5,8,9,10 are beautiful, but look like everyone else's images on the knot. The emotion in 7 and 12 aren't strong enough to stand out for me. The little girls are really cute, but I feel that when you only have 4 images to show, you need them all to relate directly to as many brides as possible. Some brides may not have children in their weddings. Hope that helps!!

Jess,

4, 6, then 1 and 3 cropped square to emphasize what makes them cool. Horizontal shots appear smaller, due to the sizing on their listings. You want images that stand out as DIFFERENT and get the brides attention. The photo that gets the most clicks in NC has a lime green background with a big candy ring. Not my personal taste at all, but if she gets way more clicks than any one else then it works.

I still get the most of my inquiries from the knot. I have a bright orange bouquet photo on my listing.
Anne
You'll have to let us know what you end up deciding!!

It's hard to say without the benefit of knowing your marketing goals, but I'd say 2,4,5 and 9. I originally said 8 but I realized that her eyes were closed.
Frank DiMeo
I like her eyes closed, it goes with the mood of the shot.
Jillian Kay
i'd do 1, 3, 4, & 7!

(7 i might give a little bit more contrast and poppyness, it's beautiful full size, but looks a little dark as a thumbnail, and that will be the size that they see first.)

best wishes with the new(ish) advertisements!!
JennyMc
Definitely numbers 5 (rings in hands) and 6 (flower girls). smile.gif
