Hi OSP,

Happy Tuesday! OK, it's taken me forever but I've finally finished my new website. laugh.gif But, I could really use some feedback before it goes "live." ohmy.gif I've been holding out on launching it as it wasn't "perfect" but it can always be tweaked after it goes live.

So, give it to me - no holds barred as I can take it. mad.gif

Thank you in advance for your help and I look forward to reading your responses. I hope you enjoy! tongue.gif

Sam, it looks good. The only thing I did not like was that I had to scroll down on the home page to choose which site to enter. Other than that it looks good.
Candy
Gorgeous!! It is very you!! I love it!

move the text on the 'about' page to the right, you put a picture of yourself there for a reason!

dont forget to change your title bar, its in the meta data section - everyone forgets...... (right now it says blu domain, and you certainly do not want that on your site!)

Thank you Elena, I really appreciate it.

Calling all BluDomain experts - is there a way to make the "splash" page resize according to the size of the monitor?

Hi Tami,

Thank you as I totally forgot about the meta data. I really need a new picture of myself and didn't have anything that I could use other than that image and a few baby pictures. I'll move the text over but then you'll be able to see my big peanut shaped head. blink.gif

Is the picture of yourself cropped at all so you might could shift it to the left? Covering yourself up is really distracting to me.

Also, I really don't like it when I click on a link and a whole new HUGE window pops open. I don't know if you can change that or if it's a blu thing, but why can't it stay in the same window?

When I clicked on "client proofs", at first I thought it was a broken link--finally realized that it wasn't when I closed your site and found that it was open in a new tab next to your splash page (so that meant that I had three tabs open for your site).

Mainly, it's clean and pretty--overall, I like it.

I might change "welcome" to "home"... I thought that clicking on that would give me a friendly welcoming message and it appears it's really a home page link.

Sam,

Overall I'd say it looks great! Fantastic even! You've got some killer stuff. thumbsup.gif

The ONLY thing I would say (and this is just my opinion) is that you might have a few too many pictures in the opening / home slideshow. I think I counted 14. Whenever I see great work on slideshows, I feel the need to finish the whole thing so I don't miss out on the photos. But that's where I get a little antsy. Your work is incredible... so that excites me and I want to get in there right away! But, 14 slides won't let me get there right away. So then I end up waiting (and enjoying) but then still mixing that emotion with a slight impatience.

I'm crazy, I know. But all in all, I would give your clients 6 - 8 great shots to set the tone and then let them loose in your website!

That's just me. Great stuff! thumbsup.gif

Hi Nam,

Long time no chat my friend, great to hear from you! And, thank you - you're gonna laugh but I am planning on cutting those down as that's a great idea! Thanks again my man!

Haha... thanks! I took a little bit of a hiatus from the shooting game this year. But I'm back at it now! Can't wait to see your final site.
