Any body has any idea about his sharpening techniques. They just look perfect.

You can get the same/ or better results from one of Dustin Francis' sharpening actions for free:

see download at bottom of his blog post.

Thanks again for being so generous Dustin.

No Tawnya, it needs to be done in Photoshop. I always export jpegs from Lightroom and then batch Magic Sharp them in PS.

+ 1. smile.gif

All of our blog images go through the Magic Sharp action.. We back it down just slightly though. On some images it's just too much and the image looks... eh.. Crunchy?

On my list of things to do is make droplets out of my actions for exporting out of Lightroom. I played with it just a little bit when I first got lightroom, and I was having problems getting the droplet to work. But, that is on my list to revisit during slow season.

I don't see why you couldn't do it.

I have gone through some tutorials in trying to create droplets and add them to an exporting preset, but to no avail. I just gave up on it and now export JPEGs, then run them through image processor from Bridge.

Here's a link that describes how to create a droplet and integrate it with Lightroom. Very slick! http://www.lightroomqueen.com/lrqdroplets.php

Glad to know that others export as a JPEG and then use PS to sharpen.
