Apparently, when Adobe updated Flash it messed up the ability to load images into your Wordpress gallery. Now you can only upload them one.at.a.time. and it takes FOREVER! Does anyone have a dummy-proof (me being the html dummy) way around this?

I tried to go to your blog but it's a blogger blog, not Wordpress. Are you talking about a new blog that hasn't debuted yet? Is it a Wordpress.com blog or self-installed Wordpress on your own server? What I normally do is just bypass Wordpress and just upload all my photo to Flickr and then tell Wordpress where to find them. Works well.

There are some other companies that have advised against upgrading to the new Flash. The suggestion I have heard is to uninstall Flash 10 and reinstall 9 until the companies have a chance to figure out whatever Adobe did. Apparently it was a big change.

Yeah, I read where you can uninstall Flash 10 and reinstall Flash 9 but won't that interfere with other sites?

I have a wordpress blog that I use for my clients' galleries. It's password protected. =)

I may set up a Flickr account to link them that way. I used to have one....now to remember the password. LOL Thanks!

I'm not sure that it would interfere with other sites. I think the issue is that most companies/programs, like Finao and WP, set up their software to work with Flash 9. Whatever Adobe changed for v10 has messed them up. Doubtful at this point that you will see much if anything that works with 10 but not 9, because people are so slow to upgrade (how many people visit your site still using IE6?? ohmy.gif ).

If you have a system that works for you, I'd downgrade and go that route.

Yeah, I had to downgrade to get my WP to work again as well. Kind of a hassle but better than uploading images one by one! I believe you can also upload a zip file of all of your images through the browser uploader but I haven't tried it so I'm not positive.

Upload the files to your FTP. Then just link to them. smile.gif
