I would love to learn how to make a storyboard. If someone has the time to walk me through the steps, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

I have the most basic way on a post on my blog from back in 2007. Just do a search at www.mcpactions.com/blog.

I also have a ton of storyboards in action for for photoshop on my site that use a harder method - but it is done for you.

Hope that helps.

This isn't necessarily the way I do it, but this is probably the best way to explain it to get you started.

1.. Create a new document the size you would like your story board. (I make mine 20X10.)
2. Open up each image you would like on the story board. Edit the images they way you would like them to be.
3. With your "move" tool, click and drag the images onto your new document that you created. Use your move tool to move them around where you would like them.
4. If you need to resize them, do a Control (or Command)+T and hold the shift key while you drag the corners in and out until it is the right size.
5. Add a stroke around the images in the layers pallet.
6. Add any text or name on the story board.
7. Flatten and save. (I usually save an unflattened PSD file in case I need to make any changes.)

You cant go wrong with this nifty little program from: http://www.heartisfound.com/resources/ - you select the size storyboard you want to end up with, then other specs like 'all photos same size' and space between photos / gutter, etc, then click the photos you want to include (im pretty sure its as many as you like), then create, and its yours. Well worth the $50 price tag, I use these all the time now. All of the latest storyboards on my blog have been created this way. Check them out!
