I'm a noob to canons and have been a good girl and reading my manuals but wondering a few things.

1. Which Picture Style do most of you use and in what instances?
2. Do you tweak any of the Sharpness/Contrast/Saturation/Color Tone? Or basically use it as is on it's default settings?

I tried different settings the other day and I just can't figure out yet what I like. Since I edit most of my images it would make sense to use the faithful picture style don't you think? I shoot mostly portraits.

Thanks for any and all feedback! Blessings to you all in this new year!

I use the Standard picture style with no changes. Other adjustments done in PS or Lightroom. This is mainly because I just have not been adventuresome with trying different settings. I know a lot of folks like the Becker settings. I believe Jessica Claire uses the Standard setting to get a pretty flat image out of the camera. (see simple photo minute here ).

Thanks guys and gals! Fun to see that photo minute. I'm so amazed at this camera/lens. I actually can shoot wide open which I never was able to do before! I'm so excited! Maybe it's the L lens?
