Hey, my name is Tim Halberg. I've been lurking the forum as a guest reading for a short time now and finally decided to join up and try and both offer advice and gain knowledge along with the rest of you. I have just recently started working for DJ/David Jay Photography and hope to meet many of you in this next year as we are out and about.
A bit about myself, I've been a student at Brooks for a little more than two and a half years now and will be graduating with a degree in Advertising in June. I probably should have been a portraiture major, but I'm glad for the depth of knowledge I've been able to gain from my teachers. I love techie photo stuff, so if anyone wants to talk techie, just drop me a line.
I guess it's obvious to say, I love shooting weddings, I wouldn't be here if I didn't. But beyond wedding photography, I enjoy creating abstract fine art images, some nature work and odd people shots.
My past includes shooting and writing for a newspaper for two years, a year in a photo lab, two years in the digital labs at Brooks and the normal odd jobs.
I love openly critiquing photos for both their positives and what you might be able to do for better images in the future. From what I’ve seen on the forum, there are some really good photographers here to share with.
Hope you are having a great new year and if you are near us in SB, are enjoying seeing the sun.
