Ben,

GORGEOUS! I enjoyed the slideshow. The bride definitely has the old Hollywood style, loved her rehearsal outfit, too. The music is a perfect fit. I love the going away shots.

Man, how do you guys choose?

I don't know if I could narrow it down to one wedding. These are stately images.
John Crozier
totally classy couple, venue, and images. You really nailed this one. Good job. I really love the shot of the banquet hall, what a beautiful place to shoot. I am jealous.

That's totally the feel they were going for... What's funny is that they weren't playing the part, so to speak. They rented that old car because the groom's classic car and his dad's antique cars were both damaged right before the wedding.

Liana, I can't wait to shoot in Mexico! Susan's great isn't she. See you tomorrow I hope.

Nathan, no offense, but your avatar just doesn't have the same effect as Amber's... w00t.gif

Jose, on the sparkler shot I tried something new (to me anyway). I had my assistant running down the stairs backlighting them with a pocket wizard. The facial light is all from the sparklers which were pretty bright.

Thanks Neil! Now I didn't say it was my favorite, but it was some of my best work for sure. It's probably shares honors with 3 or 4 others as my favorite weddings of the year.

Ben-- I'd say "simply amazing," but having had the privilege of working with you I know that there is nothing simple about it.

Awesome, AWESOME stuff. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. Just watched Jacey & Jason's slideshow also. Loved it!

Ben what lens did you use on your food shots?

Ben what lens did you use on your food shots?

It's funny that you ask. At the ceremony I dropped my new 24-105 f/4 IS and I was using Huy Cat's 24-70 f/2.8 Macro during the luncheon so all the food shots were his 24-70.

These food shots are 5D straight-out-of-the-camera JPEGs.

a) Have an coordinator/planner who likes you. smile.gif

b) Plugging the caterer on your blog and posting images of their food doesn't hurt either. thumbsup.gif

Ben,

I agree, I have to thank Susan (the coordinator) more. We had awesome food to enjoy that day!

But don't forget to fix that 24-105. When you told me you dropped yours, I had flash backs of dropping my 70-200/2.8 IS down a flight of stairs!
