Ooo I've been there! Sunset rock? Beautiiiiiiful area where you live. I've gotten to visit good friends at Covenant college several times and every time we go, I tell my husband I want to live on Lookout mountain - minus the drive in the winter and the price tag.
Gorgeous shots!

Makes me a little weak in the knees thinking about it, but it is such an amazing capture. That needs to be blown up huge and displayed on someone's wall.

yep! You got it! Sunset rock it is. Point park is not too far away though.
Thanks everyone for the compliments! You should have seen where I was standing to get the shot. heheh Thankfully heights don't bother me too much.
And Mike, it was great seeing you guys again as well! It had been too long, eh? I felt like I rushed out of there without saying goodbye to everyone. Felt bad about that. Did you and your wife ever do the photobooth?

haha If I had any sense, I probably would have too. I couldn't believe how close I was getting to the edge to get the photo that was in my mind. I wasn't concentrating on the danger, just the picture. If I didn't have the camera in my hand, it would probably be a different story. All I was thinking was "If I get this, it's going to be awesome".

I seriously would have gotten so nervous for them that even if I was 200 yards from the edge I would have fallen over and fell off the cliff. Holy shit. I'd be all like "STAY THERE I WILL PHOTOSHOP YOU IN CLOSER TO THE EDGE". hehe

Rich I have to say I absolutely loved this session. For so many reasons....they looked so natural and the background was stunning. Your post processing just made it for me...and I loved how they were so into each other and what they were reading just so very sweet...
