Took my camera to a party recently. When do I not take it? Put all the little ones on a couch and had someone hold up a flash for me. Love the expression on the little one on the right.

I think this is really cute. Really shows the different expressions that kids have. nice job.

I wish I could have had more time to set this up. I'd just gotten there and didn't have any lights set up yet. Just handed someone a flash and told them where to point it to try and get decent lighting. It's a little harsh cause I didn't have time to put any kind of modifier on it to soften it. The littlest one was unhappy to be set down so we plopped her down real quick took a couple of snaps and that was it for this setup. I cropped off the top of the picture because of the reflection of the flash on the wood since I couldn't get the light up high enough not to reflect. My human light stand wasn't tall enough!

I'm still happy with how it came out. Didn't think I'd like it at all when I took it but I think it's one of my favorites from the night. Funny how that works out some times.
