I was thinking of putting up a small photo booth at the reception tomorrow....
I have a long thin back drop and stand in which 2 people could fit in front of.
Has anyone else set up a photo booth at the reception.....if so what type of set up
did you use and how was your reprint sales for these types of pictures?

We did it once (per the bride's request). I set my second shooter up with a backdrop and a light.
Reprints were slightly higher than my average wedding, but not by much.
Now for events (it was a company event), we did the same thing, but printed on location. Sold over $1000 in prints in 6 hours.
With those kinds of photos, it's a "now or never" kind of thing.

Doesn't the term "photobooth" mean instant gratification and prints on the spot?
If your not printing on location, is it really a photobooth?

I am curious about the same. What printer is used on site to give a nice print and quick??

We used a hitouch (HiTi) 730Gala printer. It's a dye sub, costs <$1 per 5x7, and is relatively quick. Prints are waterproof, decent color (only glossy though).
It has a built in card reader, but it's painfully slow (they just released a new one that might be faster, not sure). When hooked to a computer, it's quite fast, I think about a minute per print.
We shot tethered for the on-location printing. We set it up to save the images on the computer, then just opened them and hit print. Fast & easy.
