I have a client who wants something different this year for her holiday cards. Photos of her two kids-- ages 2 1/2 and 3 1/2. She likes some things I have done in the past (2 year old wrapped in holiday lights and ornaments, baby eating a huge candy cane, etc.) She wants something "along those lines", but not those things.
I told her I would brainstorm some new ideas, but I am stumped. Anyone got anything they wouldn't mind sharing??

What if the 2 1/2 year old is in a box wrapped like a present and the 3 1/2 year old is opening it? I didn't really think this through but maybe it could work. Or they could be in giant stocking.

I love the idea of wrapping them in holiday lights... I might borrow it. smile.gif

I had my son lay on the floor in different positions so that he could spell JOY. It would be even better with more the one child. The 2 1/2 year old could do the easier positions.

Good luck

You're good. I could never get my kid to do that.

Ok, here's my idea. Mud. Cover the kids in mud in a field, like they're the dirtiest kids on the face of the earth, and then use the prettiest typography, a juxtaposition of moods that would have parents everywhere nodding with a knowing grin. Ok, nevermind. I'm using that idea.
littler chicken
Jules, that sounds like my kids' normal state of being. (wheels turning)

I recently saw a photographer that stages a "Mommy kissing Santa Claus" scene with her hubby dressed up at Santa.

Let me see if I can find who it was . . .

I had thought of doing the boxes, but I figured I would do them both popping out of boxes. I also thought about putting them in a giant stocking.... or trying to use the holiday lights again...

Argh. Why is it when someone asks you to be creative you get a total brain cramp??
