Karen, I try not to single people out but come on. If you can't see that your posts started and continuted to be confrontational and personal then you are not a very self critical person. A few others here have not been so "niiiiiiice" either but they aren't complaining about it and they didn't tell everyone that this entire forum is subpar.
People stated their beliefs. Some are on both sides have very strong beliefs. Some are offended by peoples beliefs. Some people attacked (on both sides) other peoples beliefs. Others have the ability to think, "gee, I don't agree with them on that point" and move on.

Wow, when I started reading this post about 7 hours ago, there were 6 pages to get through. I finally caught up.

Lots of great stuff here.

Going back to the beginning...my wife and I have had this talk about photographing a wedding on my Sabbath (Saturday). I have only second shot so it's up to the person I work with. He will do any day. I have only taken him up on those that were on Sunday and have told him I would help him this month on Saturday, but it is a couple, of my religion, getting married in the Crystal Cathedral, so no hope of getting that venue on a Sunday. After reading this, I'm on the fence of whether or not I should do it. I just don't know.

I do know I really want to go to OSP West but since it is on the weekend, I would skip Saturday All these decisions in the name of God.

Anyway, that wasn't worth much but since I read 11 pages worth, I figured I would add something.

On a side note, Dan Watkins, it's really hard to keep things serious and on track with you around.

I appreciate you actually taking the time to try & see where I was coming from. And you are right, I have to look at what I write as well. By "trend" - mostly I mean this one thread and being accused by people who believe they disagree with me. lol But yes, what you say is true - I know it's not the world. But I think we all know that there are going to be people on both sides of ALL issues - I think I'm sticking up for my side as is Johnny quite well. We differ, but we have respect.

As to Karen - well if she thought she was coming back to love, admiration & respect from ME? LOL Let's just say I was happy 2006 never happened as far as her & I go. I have tried in other venues to stick to the topic at hand but her third post back on OSP was "I kind of knew it was a mistake to try to offer actual advice here" at OSP. She took all of 1 day to put the forum down. Let's just say we go way back. Not saying there's gonna be a "right" and "wrong" with me & her - just that it's going to be heated.

If you are so offended by what Christians say here, I honestly don't understand why you have chosen to enter - much less spend so much time on a post clearly titled "a few questions for Christians."

I apologize for singling you out, but you are being mean and hostile to a group of people who are nice. It seems like you came here with a preconceived idea that the people here are a horrible group of people who are out to get you.

This really is a great place. My business has grown leaps and bounds because of the kind and generous nature of the people who post here. I have never known such a group of "strangers" who are so willing to help anyone out in anyway that they can. I think if you would give it a fair shake you would possibly become addicted like the rest of us.

I think I am going to lock this for now - Karen is obviously heated. I'm obviously posting stuff to rile her up. The discussion is FAR from my questions and I did get some feedback that I consider useful in my own journey. I hope everyone did.
