FS: Canon 24mm 1.4 with lens hood, 77mm filter, caps and original packaging. The lens is in perfect condition. The glass is clean and it focuses lightning fast. The lens hood has a few blemishes on it (shown below), but it serves it's purpose smile.gif

And here are the scratches I mentioned on the lens hood

This is a recent portrait shot with this lens at 1.4

Shawn - I'm selling because I'm just not a wide shooter. I picked it up to expand my range and because I liked that it was an f1.4, and while I LOVE this lens because it can quite literally find light where there is NONE, I tend to shoot more in the f4 range with off camera flash, so I don't utilize all of it's awesomeness. I also need to replace my fav lens (85 1.8) which I recently lost sad.gif

This is so tempting this is on my list of lenses to buy with the 50mm 1.2.

she is right. this lense finds light your eyes dont even see.

I just bought this at full price on B&H and am kicking myself for not buying it sooner. It is hands down the best lens I have ever owned and I have 5 other great lenses. I'm a wide lover though, so if you are too and are considering this lens, BUY IT. NOW! You will seriously love it.

Whoever gets this is going to be stoked!!! I rented it a few weeks ago and just processed the images yesterday. Yum!!! I love it. But I love this focal length so much that I'm gonna wait for the new version and spend the extra money.
Someone is gonna be stoked with this lens!!!

So you went for the 35 over the 24, aye. May I ask why Lauren?
Lauren The Awesome
Sure, Shawn! There were several reasons.

1. While having the option of shooting ultra wide is nice, I don't do it enough for it to be worth it. And when I do, those aren't really the shots my clients want to buy or include in their albums. They want to see faces, and so do I smile.gif

2. I HATE the distortion/vignetting you get on the edges of every image and even in the center if you get too close to a person. It's great for some photogs. It's just not my style.

3. I get beautiful bokeh and I get to be up close and personal with my clients. Love!
