I am sure that this question has been brought up before, but what lens/lenses do most of you guys use for your bridal sessions and esessions?
Chris Austin Photography
Right now I mostly use the Canon 70-200, and a fisheye for fun shots... If I had the 50mm 1.2, I know I'd be using that most of all! smile.gif

50 1.2 85 1.2 and my 24 1.4

we like to mix it up.

Been using the 24-70 Nikon, but not too happy with the images with it. I was using the 50 1.2 and 105, so I might go back to that. Just wanted to get some input from of you rockstarts biggrin.gif

mostly 50 1.2, 16-35 for distortion! i'm an in your face close shooter.wanna know what i've been loving for receptions? i'm glad you asked! ha! 85 1.8.
Graeme Ottley
It of course depends on where we are but more often than not I can be far enough for my 70-200. The last shot I did though, 75% of them were with the 24-70.
Marianne Wilson
24-105 50mm 1.8 and 85mm 1.8

I know we are out of the ordinary but generally we use our 11-16 2.8 (on Nate) and our 50 1.4 (on me)

I carry 2 bodies. One with the 85 1.8 on it for the beauty shots and the other with a wide angle for the action and scene setting shots which would be my fun 16-35mm. I used to change the lenses but that got realy tiring as well as hard on the lenses to change them so often with all the banging around that happens. So this is less wear and tear. It is also cool because it is nice to have an instant back up right there...if I need it.
