Every time I send an email I get a confirmation on my Blackberry...yeah I know I sent an email 2 seconds ago...anyone know how to fix this.

I changed all possible settings on both and nothing seems to work.
What am I missing?

The minute Verizon has one I'm there. Had one for a while, but AT&T sucks in my area. I'm with ya though!

Turn off the email notification? Then you will only vibrate for phone calls.

I use gmail and blackberry but I have it set up so that gmail is a separate icon, it doesn't run thru the default email on the blackberry... if that makes any sense. The only notification I get is that the little picture changes when there's new mail, no vibrations or what not

I want the notifications...just not the ones I personally send to clients or friends.

I'm having this same problem! (and yes.....I want the iphone but I'm with Zak. As soon as Verizon has it, I'm getting one!)

I just got my blackberry this week and I set up my gmail through the default email. I don't know why it notifies me when I send an email (I'm thinking it may because the conversations stack in gmail?)

the problem is with gmail and i haven't found a solution - instead of sending notifications from the inbox only, it uses the 'all mail' box. so we get alerts for what we get, what we send, and spam.

if anyone has a solution please share!

You aren't alone in that wait, my friend. My phone contract with Verizon was up in September and I KNOW that the very MINUTE I buy a new phone, Verizon will come out with a real iPhone competitor. So I'm just going to wait it out. I think.

It's possible I'll give the iPhone a try though.

Verizon may launch the iPhone in a few years. Every time I see an iPhone imitator it's just that...not the same. When I had the iPhone I loved it and really can't wait to get one on a better network.
