I am having a logo designed and this is the current one I am liking but I've been staring at it a lot and would love some fresh eyes. Let me know what you think... I told him I wanted something fun yet professional. It was designed by Shaun at Clear Focus Designs. He's been great to work with!

I like it. I like the letters in the circle, but there's something about the edges of the circle I'm finding distracting. Not sure what it is.

I like it. Love the colors. I'm not sure about the small letters on the 1A. Why not keep the capital R and D and have some consistency... or is that continuity??

Anyways, I also love the flowers to the right of the photo.

I agree with Valerie... ask him to do the same circle with Capitals or change the full name to lowercase (if you're into that)...

Also, make sure it looks good on a white background just in case you ever need that.

Otherwise, I like it!

The logo is the "rd" part.

All I'm "hearing" is "erd" as in "herd." So it's bothering me, because I'm "hearing" things when I see it, and the things I'm hearing have nothing to do with your name or your photography.

I like the circle and the name styling, except your designer needs to kern the letters better. How about asking your designer to design you a logo with something indicative in the circle besides just your initials. (Keep in mind this coming from someone with initials in her logo so what the heck do I know.)

The blend inside the logo isn't going to work on a bunch of stuff either, so make sure you get a clean design with no blends.

I'm not quite sure if I understand waht you mean by herd... like the "rd" looks like "erd" so you think of "herd"? At first I didn't know it was an "rd" but he tweaked it and it looks better now. But I kind of get what your saying (i think).

haha the blend was my idea... he tried the logo in yellow and I like having another color so I asked him if he could add a little yellow to a blue circle, which I think was a sun when it was yellow. He thought a sun would be nice since I'm in cali.

Oh, and my name... thanks... I like it too. :-) It's great for google searches since it's not that common.

Because it's lowercase and run together, it looks like a word. And if you say the word, you say, "erd." I just think it's weird. The designer's excuse that the font doesn't have capitals would make me want to look for a new designer. OMG, the stuff people come up with just blows my mind.

I just wrote to him to see what we can do about it.

Besides the cap thing he has been great. I think he's given me about 10 different designs over the last week. He's tried to accomodate all of my requests.

Did you look at the flower one? what'd you think of it?

I like the flower better than "erd." But it seems cliche and clip-arty.

That's kind of what I thought. Hopefully he can fix the "rd".

I like how the flowers look on your web site a lot. Clean and simple and straight. The logo flower should echo that, if you decide to go with a flower.

I have to agree with Dragonfly. Something about the circle that doesn't feel just right!

I guess I'm in the minority...cuz I really like it exactly the way it is. 1 is my favorite
But what do i know! My logo was made by me and I don't like it! I just couldn't afford to pay someone for their time just yet

I actually like the circle WAY better than the flower...I especially say this as I think it looks good as a watermark on the sample photo you provided.

Me too. I don't want to be stuck with the flowers- I think it would get old fast.
