OK, I know I haven't posted much lately. I'm sorry, OK? I'll be better, I promise.
Anyway, we have this nursery about 2 miles from me, and he has the coolest stuff there. I'll put a Animoto show up on my blog later, but here's a few from the session.

Hi Mark,

I think #5 is not very flattering. Also, I think most the outdoor shots could benefit from a reflector or a touch of fill flash to eliminate the sunken, "racoon eyes" look.

The "2009" shot is well posed, though perhaps you should photoshop out the "4" on the cube?

#10 is cool! Is that a DIY ring flash?

Great work,

EDIT: On second glance, I think #9 would benefit from having her bend her camera-right arm, to both eliminate the locked elbow and bring the arm away from the body.

Hey Tzal, thanks for the tips! I wish I could have gotten here not to lean so much on that arm on the blocks, but the ones where she did lighten up on it didn't really show her legs, and have the curve composition. I did add some fill for you on the outdoor stuff. I wanted to use my 24" softbox, but just got tired of dragging it around the place. I need a flunky.

That is a homemade ring light. 2100 watts. I painting it black next to make it go away in the background. Might add some Morris ac slaves. Anybody remember those?

Good looks! She's looking very loving in the evening sun. Great set.

I wonder if a silver 18" reflector on a stand would do the trick.

That's great! Is the camera mounted to it somehow?

It's not mounted. I shoot through the center. If I had it to do again (and I guess I could) I'd make it a bit larger I think. I want a black one that can be used as a background element with the ac slaves gelled to give color.
