Full Version: Bridge thumbnails are very dark?

So, I've often thought that the thumbnails (and preview) are pretty dark and sure enough they are! I just saved a file in PS and then went to bridge to look at the 2 versions side by side and Bridge displays them about 3 stops underexposed.

What's up with that and how do I fix it?

Do you have auto settings on?

Or does he have nothing on, like Amber?

I did go through the steps outlined here on the Adobe support site, but those seem to apply only to RAW files, I noticed it on some PSD files that still appear dark after changing the settings and then relaunching Bridge.

For example, here's the top part of a web site layout that I'm working on for a client, I took screen captures of the preview of the same image in both PSCS2 and Bridge (1.0.4.6) and then made them into an animated gif to show you the difference.
