Thanks for the very kind words. It means a lot to me with all the rediculous talent on these forums.
The lighting set up was a beauty dish (sometimes gridded) and photek softlighter on an AB800 and WL X1600 (can't remember which on which). The beauty dish to light the subject and the softlighter to light some of the background. I'm sure you can tell which side the hard beauty dish light was coming from in each shot.
As for the PP, well with the dramatic lighting, the PP was only to add a little contrast and clean up the image. I always spend loads of time on PP but really just amounts to curves and some layered D+B. The conversion to web blows out some of the skin, still trying to learn how to avoid that.
